What You'll Do

Lead a team of skilled Python engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring to drive successful project delivery.
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Python applications and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
Define technical architecture, frameworks, and best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and promote adherence to coding standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, exploring new technologies and approaches to enhance development processes.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining system stability.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Python development, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

You have a minimum of 7 years of comprehensive experience as a Python Engineer, with a proven track record of leading engineering teams.
Expertise in Python frameworks such as Django or Flask, with a strong understanding of Python best practices and design patterns.
Extensive experience in building scalable and high-performance applications using Python and related technologies.
Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as proficiency in writing efficient database queries.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies and agile practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
Proven ability to drive successful project delivery and meet project deadlines.
Experience in the fintech industry or a similar domain is a plus.
Must be located in any EU country and available to work exclusively for our esteemed fintech client based in Europe.
