What You'll Do

  • Lead a team of skilled Python engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring to drive successful project delivery.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Python applications and services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver innovative solutions.

  • Define technical architecture, frameworks, and best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.

  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and promote adherence to coding standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, exploring new technologies and approaches to enhance development processes.

  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining system stability.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Python development, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

Who You Are

  • You have a minimum of 7 years of comprehensive experience as a Python Engineer, with a proven track record of leading engineering teams.

  • Expertise in Python frameworks such as Django or Flask, with a strong understanding of Python best practices and design patterns.

  • Extensive experience in building scalable and high-performance applications using Python and related technologies.

  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as proficiency in writing efficient database queries.

  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and agile practices.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

  • Proven ability to drive successful project delivery and meet project deadlines.

  • Experience in the fintech industry or a similar domain is a plus.

  • Must be located in any EU country and available to work exclusively for our esteemed fintech client based in Europe.
