What You'll Do

Collaborate with a talented team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems for our innovative healthtech startup.
Take ownership of backend development, leveraging your expertise in Node.js and AWS to build robust and reliable solutions.
Design and optimize APIs, ensuring seamless integration with frontend systems and external services.
Implement efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms, leveraging databases such as MongoDB or MySQL.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend components, ensuring the highest level of code quality and system stability.
Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies, frameworks, and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and professional development.

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong focus on Node.js.
Your expertise in Node.js is complemented by a solid understanding of backend technologies and concepts.
AWS services and infrastructure excite you, and you have hands-on experience with building scalable applications using AWS.
You are well-versed in designing and developing RESTful APIs and have a deep understanding of HTTP and related protocols.
Database systems like MongoDB or MySQL are familiar territory for you, and you can efficiently model and query data.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and have a keen eye for identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
